Terms of Service

Welcome to Hexis. By accessing or using our software, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

1. Nature of Software

Hexis is an automation framework for Minecraft. The software is provided for:

• Educational purposes (learning automation and scripting concepts)
• Private servers where you have explicit permission
• Single-player worlds
• Development and testing environments

Hexis is NOT designed, intended, or marketed for violating any third-party server's Terms of Service.

2. Included Scripts - Sample Implementations

All scripts included with Hexis are SAMPLE IMPLEMENTATIONS provided to demonstrate the framework's capabilities and scripting concepts. These scripts demonstrate:

• Lua syntax and structure
• Pathfinding algorithms
• Event-driven automation patterns
• Error handling and recovery systems

YOU are responsible for ensuring any scripts you use comply with applicable server rules and terms of service. We do not encourage or endorse the use of these scripts in violation of any server's rules.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use Hexis to:

• Disrupt gameplay for other users
• Engage in any activity prohibited by applicable law
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Share, resell, or redistribute your license key or .jar file

Violation of these terms may result in immediate license termination without refund.

5. License Grant

Upon purchase, Hexis grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for personal use only. This license is:

• Bound to the Minecraft accounts you own and link to it: one for Lifetime, three while Pro is active
• Limited to one running Hexis session per linked Minecraft account
• Valid for the duration specified at purchase
• Subject to these Terms of Service
• Revocable for violation of these terms

5a. Pro Subscription

Pro is an optional monthly add-on to a Lifetime licence. It is billed in advance and renews automatically each month at the price shown at checkout until you cancel.

• Cancel any time from Billing on your dashboard. Access continues to the end of the paid period and no further charges are made.
• Cancelling Pro never removes your Lifetime licence. Linked Minecraft accounts beyond the Lifetime seat, marketplace installs, remote control, and the Pro Live View cap stop when the paid period ends.
• Hosted services (Live View, remote control, replay) run on shared capacity. Daily caps are set by Hexis and may be adjusted as capacity changes. The current cap is shown on the purchase page and in your dashboard. We tell Pro customers before a reduction that applies to them.
• If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays active while the payment is retried and ends if it cannot be collected.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Hexis is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
• We do not warrant that the software will meet your specific requirements

7. Limitation of Liability

WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR:

• Account bans, suspensions, or penalties
• Loss of game progress, items, or virtual currency
• Consequences of automation use on any server
• Third-party actions or decisions
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR HEXIS IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so the above may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, and HOLD HARMLESS A5 Software LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates from ANY claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (INCLUDING LEGAL FEES) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the software
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of third-party rights or terms
• Account penalties or bans resulting from your use
• Any actions taken by game servers or administrators

This indemnification survives termination of your license.

9. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the software, all sales are final. Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in cases of:

• Technical issues preventing activation that cannot be resolved
• Duplicate purchases
• A Pro renewal charged after a cancellation request that we failed to apply

Refunds will NOT be granted for account bans, dissatisfaction with features, or violation of these terms.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Disclaimer

Hexis is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or Hypixel Inc. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.
